What you need
Ingredients
- SWAD Biryani Curry Paste – 3 tbsp
- SWAD Basmati Rice – 2 cups (soaked 30 mins)
- Mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, peas, cauliflower, potato) – 2 cups (chopped)
- Onion – 2 medium, thinly sliced
- Tomato – 1 large, chopped
- Yogurt – ½ cup
- Oil or ghee – 3 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Water – 4 cups
- Fresh coriander– for garnish
- Cashews – for garnish (optional)
Method
How to make it
Heat oil/ghee in a deep pan, fry onions until golden; set aside half for garnish.
Add chopped tomato, yogurt, and SWAD Biryani Curry Paste; cook for 2 minutes.
Add vegetables, sauté for 3–4 minutes.
Stir in soaked rice and 4 cups water with salt; mix gently.
Cover and cook on low flame until rice is fluffy and fully cooked (12–15 minutes).
Garnish with Cashews and coriander.
Serve hot with SWAD Raita or pickle.
