Ingredients

  • • SWAD Biryani Curry Paste – 3 tbsp

  • • SWAD Basmati Rice – 2 cups (soaked 30 mins)

  • • Mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, peas, cauliflower, potato) – 2 cups (chopped)

  • • Onion – 2 medium, thinly sliced

  • • Tomato – 1 large, chopped

  • • Yogurt – ½ cup

  • • Oil or ghee – 3 tbsp

  • • Salt – to taste

  • • Water – 4 cups

  • • Fresh coriander– for garnish

  • • Cashews – for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Heat oil/ghee in a deep pan, fry onions until golden; set aside half for garnish.

  • 2. Add chopped tomato, yogurt, and SWAD Biryani Curry Paste; cook for 2 minutes.

  • 3. Add vegetables, sauté for 3–4 minutes.

  • 4. Stir in soaked rice and 4 cups water with salt; mix gently.

  • 5. Cover and cook on low flame until rice is fluffy and fully cooked (12–15 minutes).

  • 6. Garnish with Cashews and coriander.

  • 7. Serve hot with SWAD Raita or pickle.
